The Matcha teaspoon, or "Chashaku," is reserved exclusively for Matcha tea powder. One spoonful of Matcha with Chashaku is equivalent to one serving for one person.
A traditional instrument of the Japanese tea ceremony, the Matcha teaspoon is equally useful in your daily Matcha tea preparations!
Golden bamboo, approx. 16 to 17 cm.
Traditional matcha tea preparation uses a chawan (ceremonial bowl) and a chasen (matcha whisk). After measuring and pouring the tea powder with the chawan, pour hot water over it, then whisk the mixture with the chasen (matcha whisk) in zigzag motions until foam forms on the surface.
To use the matcha spoon, simply insert it into the matcha container and scoop out a quantity of tea.
After use, rinse with clean water and handle with care. Do not use detergents. Wipe thoroughly with a clean, dry, soft cloth.
